days ago. Final copy. Right here. Anyway, my roommate liked it, so maybe
someone else will too. ;)

You said together always.
Did you lie? Unfair that this world
Will not allow such a love.

I need you.
Teach me,
Show me how to run
How to sing with my eyes open
And to laugh with my heart exposed.
Show me how to scream my horror
And how to rail with anger.
Show me how to let my heart burst with love
And shrink with disgust.
Show me how to love beyond love's sake.

I need you.
Love me,
Kiss away my crimes
Tell me you'll never leave
And speak the words I long to hear.

I need you.
Crave me,
Make me feel alive
Pull this mask of grief from my eyes
Push the shroud of defeat from my shoulders
Hold this heart that beats for only you

I need you.
You're more than a dream to me
More than a man, more than a lost
love in the rolling stream of time.
Memories fade, its true.
Dreams do not.
