Dear Oliver,
It's your 24th birthday and I am blessed to be able to share this day with you. I thank God every morning I wake up and every night before I go to bed for sending you to me. You have given me purpose, you have loved me, you have been there for me and you saved me. You have given more joy then anyone else in my life could've given me. It took a lot to open my heart up to you, because it had been broken several times. But something I realized was that my heart had belonged to you for quite sometime I just didn't know it yet.
We were partners at work...you made me watchtower; then we became friends. From friends we became partners outside of work and finally we became lovers. Oliver you are my other half and you are a breath of fresh air. You are my balance, you are my heart, you are my soul, and you are my whole world. You are the one and everything about you, including your faults and flaws make me love you even more.
Oliver, when I saw you all I could say was wow. You were breathtaking. I knew that there was more to you then meets the eye. I don't expect you to be perfect, because I'm not perfect; we're human and we all make mistakes. I know that I've made my fair share. All I want is for you to be you. For you to trust me and to let me in. Know that I will be here on your best days and on your worst days and I won't love you any less because of them.
There are no words to ever describe how much you truly mean to me. But all in all, I trust you Oliver with everything. I trust you with my heart, with my secrets, my stories that I never told anyone else, with my scars, and with my love. I could not have asked nor found a better man than you to come into my life and stand next to me. You are my equal, my soul mate, my lover, my partner, and my friend. Don't forget that I will always love you and be here for you. I will pick you up when the rest of the world pushes you down.
