Short little one shot. I hope you enjoy.

I don't own Glee, and I don't have a betta.

Best friends, Nick and Jeff were having a movie night and as the ending credits to Zombie Land started to roll, but both Jeff and Nick decided they were too comfortable to move from where they were lying with Nick's head on Jeff's chest and Jeff's arms around him. They let the credits play as they thought about the ending of the movie.

"When the Zombie apocalypse happens I'm sticking with you."

"Kay, we'll be so badass, killing all the Zombies." Nick agreed.

"It would start with a bad lab experiment." Jeff guessed.

"We would be sitting in our shared dorm room, and the door would creep open. Trent stumbles in with crazy eyes and blood dripping from his mouth."

"You start screaming and hit him with the lamp on the table. I grab the apocalypse backpacks out of the closet and my car keys." Jeff added.

"We jump over him before he wakes up and make a break for the parking lot."

"We just reach your car when Sebastian comes out of no where and nearly grabs you. You start running across the parking lot while I jump in the car and run him over. I open the door and pull you into the car as we start driving."

"We drive until we get to my grandfather's house, not saying anything just listening to the radio reports."

"We plan to see about taking some of his collection of guns, and checking on your grandparents and the dog, but your grandparents, are gone. There's only a note on the kitchen counter that says, It's all yours, we don't need it now. If we knew you we loved you. You start to tear up." Jeff spoke softly.

"You make a bad joke, and we start to search the house for them. We find them in the backyard lying together in a shallow uncovered grave. My grandfather's favorite pistol in his hands. We bury him with it. We say some words, you hold me as I cry, and we sleep in my childhood bedroom."

"We stay there on the farm a couple weeks until the food runs out. Only spotting a couple zombies the whole time, and ending them quickly. We avoid the worst of the apocalypse."

"We venture into town to go to the grocery store, and find food, but we'd be attacked when we tried to load it into the car, and I'd shoot the zombies, and save you." Nick said proudly.

"What makes you think you'd be the one saving me."

"Because really, you shooting things?" Jeff asks.

"I could shoot something if I wanted to." Nick insists.

"Sure you could." Jeff stated sarcastically.

"I could, and after the attack I'd realize how much you mean to me."

"How much I.." Jeff started.

"Then we'd fall in love." Nick interrupted him.

"We would?" Jeff asked completely confused.

"Of course."

"But.. you're not...are you?... are you gay?"

"You didn't know that?"

"No I.. we never talked about it...I'd assumed if you were you'd have told me..."

"Like you told me you were gay?"

"I did."

"No you told me you had a date, and the next thing I knew a boy was knocking on our dorm room door."

"I thought you knew!"

"No clue."

"None? I really thought you knew! I thought you knew I was gay, I thought you knew how I felt about you too...oh shit I didn't mean to say that..." Jeff said trailing off in embarrassment.

"How do you feel about me?" Nick whispered softly while his eyes locked on Jeff's. Nick watched carefully as Jeff took a deep breath.

"I, I ,well you're my best friend, but I feel much more than that for you. I.." Jeff stopped as Nick moved his face closer.

"I feel the same way. You mean so much to me." Nick whispered before pressing their lips together.

The next day:

"So you two finally got together?" David asked at breakfast.

"Yes" Jeff said.

"How'd it happen?" Wes questioned.

"The zombie apocalypse." Nick said as they walked away.

"You know what our first date should be?"

"What?"

"Target practice." He winked.
