So here I am finally stepping on the gas after waiting for the stop light to turn green, and out of no were this idiot decides he's too important to wait on a frigging light. The shiny car slides out causing me to slam the break. For a split second I contemplated on "forgetting" were the break was and "accidently" crumpling the side of the car, but then the driver's looks caught my attention. His green eyes glimmered under shaggy bronze hair that went down to his ear lobes. And within those few seconds we saw each other he managed to throw a cocky grin.
I wondered what he had seen looking at me. Short choppy brown hair, too much eyeliner, and a look that could kill.
But he sped on, pristine car and all, to possibly terrorize more drivers. Now all I had to worry about was a well worn pickup truck creeping and finally coasting beside me. God I hate LA drivers.
The buzz of my phone startled me in the quiet of my Shelby Cobra. "Hello?"
"Bella!" I winced slightly and pulled the phone back from my ear while concentrating on not swerving.
"Tanya! Chill, I can hear you perfectly, no need to yell." My best friend Tanya-Nichole sure had a way of making a throbbing hang over to a bleeding hangover within seconds.
"Sorry! But can you do me a favor?"
"Hmm?" I answered knee holding the steering wheel in place, one hand holding the phone, the other groping for Excedrin.
"Look to your left!"She was excited about something, I could tell, she kept squealing.
My right hand came up victorious and I now fumbled with the lid, cell phone in the crook of my neck. "Now why should I do this?" I asked skeptical.
"Aw Bella, just do It." She said annoyed.
I was now chewing the Excedrin (no water) and gagged. "Fine" I looked over to my left at the truck beside me, and almost groaned. There sitting in the passenger seat was Tanya, in all her pink glory, waving like a maniac.
"Hi Tanya, I see you."
Don't ask how we became friends, I really don't remember. It was somewhere between her holding my hair back as I hovered over the toilet or me buying her a drink after her cut off. Jeez I need to sober up. It's not getting me any were except chewing pain pills, and being annoyed to death by the incompatible friends I find while drunk.
"So muh bud, what we doin t'day?" She tried to imitate a thug, but her being white and preppy, it just didn't work.
"Actually Tanya, I have a major hangover and I think I might just sleep it off, besides looks like you're going to be busy with your new friend." I expertly blew her off, but her being her, couldn't tell.
"Oh, okay. P.S. this is Colden, we met at the mall and he offered free drinks, and well, you know about me and free drinks" she started to laugh/snort at her small joke. If you even call it a joke.
"Yah, well you know about me and my hangovers, so I better go."
"Oh, yeah okay. Later Ray!" She said waiving out the trucks cracked window.
"Bye" I said speeding up to pass them.
Soooo ya, tell me if I should go on. Kuz I don't realy feel any pull to finish this. I just wrote a little snippet. I do have everything planned out, I just want to know if anyone is reading it.
