He wasn't much of a fighter. Yamada Hanatarou knew this, but when they told him he should train and become stronger, he couldn't help but think it sounded like a good idea. It would be nice to be strong like Kuchiki-taichou, Ichigo-san, and all the others he admired so much. So, he agreed to it.

But he didn't expect this at all!

So, here he stood, in the dark deserts of Hueco Mundo... with the large, bloodthirsty Espada Nnoitra Jiruga looming over him.

Hanatarou glanced up at the tall Espada and backed away slowly. 'H-He's so scary...' He thought, shivering. Nnoitra just stared at him, bored. He needed to get back to his epic battles, not waste his time training this little wimp! They both stood there for a good five minutes without saying anything to eachother, until Hanatarou, still shaking, finally gathered the courage to speak.

"a...Ano... Nnoitra-san? Are you going to help me..? B-because if not, IthinkI'lljustbegoingnow, seeyou!" Hanatarou stammered, and began to run off. But Nnoitra was too fast for him, and before he knew it the Espada was standing over him once again. Nnoitra growled, obviously annoyed. "Listen, twerp! I don't wanna do this any more then you do, but you really look like you need some help! You're so freakin' tiny! Are you even a real Shinigami?"

"I-I'm not tiny..." Hanatarou began, but looking at the large Arrancar, he realized that it was true. Nnoitra was two feet taller then the poor little Shinigami, and out-weighed him by at least 100 pounds, despite his thin and lanky body. He couldn't help but be a little jealous.
Nnoitra ignored him. "That weak body of yours wouldn't even crush an ANT! You should just give up now!" "I-I won't give up! I know I can learn to fight if I try..." Determined, Hanatarou reached for his Zanpakutou and took it out of his bag. Luckily, he actually remembered to bring it with him today. "What the hell's that?" Nnoitra demanded. "My Zanpakutou..." "HEH! Looks more like a butter knife to me!" Hanatarou frowned. 'Yeah, well, you look like a spoon!' Is what he wanted to say, but he decided that if he wanted to live, he'd better keep it to himself.

A wide, sinister grin spread across Nnoitra's face. If he absolutely had to do this, he might as well have fun with it. Still grinning, he swiftly took Hanatarou's Zanpakutou out of his hands and threw it far out into the desert.

"H-Hisagomaru!" Hanatarou cried. He was starting to get a little angry at the Espada. "W-what did you do that for?" He said, raising his voice.

"You'll NEVER be able to leave even a cut on someone with that thing! Try this instead!" He tossed Hanatarou his own Zanpakutou. The small Shinigami jumped out of the way just in time. "B-but, Nnoitra-san! T-there's no way I can even lift that...it's impossible..!"

"Suck it up! Stop whining and come at me with all you've got!" Nnoitra roared. Hanatarou sighed. Might as well get it over with. He struggled to lift the huge axe-like weapon. It was surprisingly lighter then he expected, but he could still barely lift it off the ground. He attempted to run at Nnoitra while dragging the large weapon along with him, but the weight of the Zanpakutou proved to be way too much for him, and Hanatarou tripped, falling over at Nnoitra's feet. "HAHAHA! Are you serious? THAT'S the best you can do, twerp?" He laughed.

Hanatarou blushed. He was used to these kinds of things, but it was still a little embarrassing. "I-I'm sorry, Nnoitra-san... It's j-just so heavy, and besides, I can't run very fast, and...and...!" Suddenly, one of the many creatures of Hueco Mundo popped out of the ground next to his face. Hanatarou squealed and hid behind the large Espada. "Gah! T-that surprised me!" He said, panting.

Nnoitra facepalmed. This was going to take a long time...
