Twin Monocles
The Sanzo party still headed to their destination in the west, Sanzo sat in the passenger seat having to break up the fighting bakas in the back seat. Hakkai smiled again taking mental count as Sanzo turned and silenced the two for the 23rd time. He smiled and sighed.
"Now now we'll be at the next town soon."
He said smiling as his thoughts turned he remembered Inratres that small village were he'd last seen...
Flash back 12 years ago
"Gonou come on lets play"The boy's voice invaded the quite boy sitting aginst the wall with his nose in a book. His glasses flashed as he set it aside, to look at the identical figure standing in front of him. He stood; smiling the figure identical in appearance was slightly taller and wore a faded brown shirt contrasting the green of his twin.
"What game are we going to play Hakyu?"
The twin Hakyu smiled a thing that was never good especially with the glint of mischief in his eyes. He scanned the area, and spotted his target.
"How about a game of tag...and hey guys." Hakyu turned to speak to some other boys from the village walk up. He turned to them and went to speak to them they glanced at Gonou as Hakyu spoke.
The smaller twin held his book he knew what they would say they didn't want to b around him he was strange and boring, he turned to sit back down opening his book as Hakyu approached.
"I know...go have fun..I'll just finish.." Gonou began.
"You look smart but sometimes I wonder." Hakyu said with a smile
Gono looked up Hakyu stood alone in front of him.
"I said we would play tag." He smiled down at Gonou, hand out stretched.
End flash back
Hakkai looked zoned out again he had been doing that since they had mapped out the next stop a few days ago. He seemed distant and lost in quite thought with that grin on his face again. The red head sighed and leant over the seat slightly. "Hakkai you alright man?"
Hakkai turned in surprise. "Fine, we'll be in town soon."
The red head still not satisfied with the answer sat back with a sigh, he knew Hakkai was lying and he wasn't very good at it. We'll at least he thought so. The monkey was about to question Hakkai further, boy that was damned annoying besides Hakkai didn't need his questioning.
"Damn Monkey can't you shut up!"
The red head stood to his feet stomping on the monkey's thick skull. He continued to do this, until the monk vein throbbing turned to silence them.
"Studied water spr.." Goku began before Sanzo delivered a smack at them both with his fan and pulled out his gun.
The monkey made a face, rubbing his sore head. "Sanzo what was that for?"
The red head rubbed his own head. "Damn monk."
