Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening- Robert Frost
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
I, Daniel Fenton, was waiting at the airport in my home town of Amity Park for my best friend/crush Samantha Manson (Sam to anyone who did not have a death wish) to come home from Romania after leaving for six years. I had just received a call from her asking me to pick her up at the airport that day. I had always regretted the fact that I never told Sam about my feelings for her. I was thinking back to when we were in high school together. Some of my memories are great, but I can tell you that I do not miss being stuffed in a locker at all.
The little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
I spotted her the second she stepped off the plane because she was still a goth inside and out. I went up to her and gave her a hug. "It is good to see you again, Sam." I tell her and smiled at her. "I have missed living here, Danny. I am glad to see that things are almost the same." She tells me with a smile. "Do you want me to grab your bags for you, Sam?" I asked kindly, but I saw her frown at me. "Can you keep a secret for me, Danny?" She asked me quietly and I nodded yes. "I was accused of killing my roommate, but they could not prove that I killed her, Danny. I was sent back here after being ban from Romania for life." She quietly confessed to me and I could not believe this fact.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
"Do you have a place to stay yet, Sam?" I asked her quietly while I stirred her through the crowd. "I was going to see if my parents would let me come back home, Danny." She said to me, but her face told me that she did not really want to live with them. "You can live at my apartment with me, Sam. I live alone there so you will not get in anyone's way." I told her helping her into my car. "That sounds great, Danny." She told me so I drove away from the airport. I made sure to stop at the mall so Sam could buy some new clothes then after she got the clothes. I drove to my place because I was famous my apartment was on the top floor. "You have a very nice place, Danny." Sam told me when we were inside my apartment. "Thank you, Sam. I am glad you like it." I had my place fixed in a half goth black, in honor of Sam, and a light blue, in honor my old room at my parent's home. "Do you still fight ghosts, Danny?" Sam asked me referring to my alter-ego Danny Phantom. "Valerie fights most of them now unless they are too tuff then I fight them, Sam." I tell her calmly. "Does not the Box Ghost still bug you, Danny?" She asks me, I nod yes, and we both start laughing about it. I could not believe that Sam still remembered him (he has married Lunch Lady and they have a kid called Lunch Box).
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And many miles to go before I sleep
And many miles to go before I sleep.
I was sitting in my armchair thinking about all the things we went through together. "I have been meaning to tell you something for a while, Sam." I told her because I had finally decided to come clean with her. "What is it, Danny?" She asked me very quietly. "I am in love with you, Sam." I told her and sat there waiting for a reply. We were incased in a quiet mist and she decided to break it finally. "I love you too, Danny. I always have and will love you." She told me. I pulled her closer to me and kissed her gently. We are now living happily ever after just like in the stories.
