Saturday

She was vital to him. Like food to stop his hunger and water to satisfy his thirst. He could never imagine his life without her and now that she was gone, he was slowly dying of solitude. He hated the way she was necessary to him. She was such an amazing presence that everyone missed her when she left.

Meanwhile, Monica arrived at the spa. She wanted to have some time for herself and the only place in her mind to relax and really please herself is at a spa. Oil massages, back rubs, skin cleansings and facial masks were planned for the day. She could go to an aerobics class tomorrow and go swimming in the afternoon. She wondered what John was up to. Not that he didn't take care of her with the most meticulous attentions, but going somewhere by herself was part of her monthly schedule.

John was doing push-ups to keep his mind off Monica.

"One thousand four hundred and twenty three – "he rose again and lowered his body. "Twenty," he finished and rolled onto his back.

He wasn't in terrible shape, but heck, his life revolved around Mon. He got up red-faced and walked to his bedroom. He ran his hand through his hair and stood before his dresser. In the third drawer was some of Monica's stuff. He had emptied the drawer to allow her to feel right at home. He pulled it and took out a bundled up sleeveless white T. Smirking silently at the sight of her throwing the piece of clothing in a huff, he knew she tried to hide her disorderliness from him with no success. All his ties were neatly hanging from his closet door separated by colour. Neat freak, he thought. He brought her shirt to his nostrils and was delighted by the material's scent. Her scent. He realized what he was doing and felt dumb, bunched back the shirt into the drawer and closed it with a bang.

'What the hell is wrong with me? I can't believe I'm craving a woman this much!'

The idea of her in his bed next to him made his skin crawl with thrills.

Friday

The alarm clock rang. Doggett was lying on his chest with his head between the two pillows. His back muscles twitched as he heard the annoying noise. He fumbled around to find the clock and, with two fingers, hit the snooze. Damn thing, he thougth. It was Sunday morning after all. He'd forgotten to turn the alarm off. Yesterday, he'd kept it on to drive Monica to the spa.

As he turned to his side, he thought of the dream he'd just had about her. She was such a gorgeous woman and she was always on his mind. He loved her so much.

THE END - yeah, sorry for your disappointment, that's all I got.
