Gokudera Hayato
Miho had just arrived at the Sawada residence. She was on a mission. She promptly knocked on the door, and adjusted her messenger bag and hoodie as she waited. Tsuna and Yamamoto answered the door. She grinned and wiggled her fingers in a wave.
"A-ah, Miho-chan! What are you doing here?" Tsuna asked, surprised to see the girl at his home. He stepped back as Miho let herself in.
"How's it going Kitamura?" Yamamoto laughed.
Miho waved a hand dismissively as she marched right into the kitchen, the two boys following after. "I'm good, Yama, I'm good. So, have you guys seen Gokudera-kun today? Is he here?" She turned her head this way and that in search of the boy.
"Yeah, Gokuderea-kun is upstairs. He's holed himself up in my room and he won't let anyone in," Tsuna answered. "Wha-what are you doing here again, Miho-chan?"
Miho turned to face the boys. "Hmm. That does present a problem," she mused, tapping her chin. However, her thinker's expression quickly changed to a bright one. "Well, that's why I prepared a, uh… Oh, shoot." She began searching her pockets for something. "Where did I put…?" she mumbled to herself. She laughed. "Well, when he comes out tell him I stopped by and give him – hold on a moment, I have to find it." Tsuna and Yamamoto watched curiously (well, Yamamoto was more amused) as Miho plopped herself down on the kitchen floor and began pulling various books and notebooks and other things out of her bag. As she searched she mumbled things like "I thought I put it… nope. Guess not" and "Where could I have put it?"
After a couple of minutes a light bulb seemed to have lit up above Miho's head. "Ah-hah! I remember now!" she declared and flipped through one of the notebooks until an envelope fell out. It was plain white, but with Gokudera's name on it and a little octopus sticker sealing it shut. Miho piled the rest of her things back into her bag and was about to stand up when a door upstairs banged open very loudly, and the sound of pounding feet was heard going down the hall.
As he was coming down the stairs Gokudera began shouting, "Juudaime! I've got it! I've finally figured out how I'm gonna confess to Kitamura-chan!" He was grinning, part of his hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and his glasses were slightly askew, when he came into Miho's view. He had a piece of paper clutched in his hand and his cheeks had a bit of pink to them. He looked damn proud of himself. And then he spotted Miho sitting on the kitchen floor.
Tsuna was stuttering something along the lines of "Go-Gokudera-kun, ah, ha, hieeee…" Yamamoto wore a silly grin. He obviously thought that there was nothing wrong with the situation, in fact, it was perfect, because Gokudera had just inadvertently confessed without having to confront the girl.
Gokudera's face turned several interesting shades of red as his grin turned into more of an awkwardly gaping hole in his face. His eyes were plastered quite permanently on the girl of his now-apparent affections. Miho's cheeks flamed red as she smiled. And then she started laughing. "He-hello, Gokudera-kun!" She waved that same wiggly-fingered wave.
"Ki-Kitamura-chan! What, what're you – what? I – what?" Miho laughed again. He looked so cute, all flustered. She liked it best when he had his hair in a ponytail and when he had his glasses on.
"Eheh heh. It seems that we had the same idea today, Gokudera-kun." The girl smiled up at the silver-haired boy, holding up the letter she had addressed to him.
