A/N: Okay, I have no idea where this came from, but I quite like it. There is no way Elle didn't catch Adam in the port with that power of hers. She can KO him for as long as she wants, something had to happen there (yeah, probably it was a scene the writers didn't think through, with no implications whatsoever). 300 volts.
She knows exactly how much time he needs to recover from each of her jolts, she had almost 8 years to learn it.
This should give her enough time to get ahead of him.
It works.
He finally stands up, she looks him in the eye.
She feels anger. Confusion. (Disappointment.)
He did not tell her about the plan.
"What do you think you're doing, Adam?"
She shouts, he lowers his voice.
Short explanation, this is exactly how he wanted all this to turn out; she doesn't know if she should believe him.
But then she caresses his face, and he feels the sparks under his skin.
He smiles.
He didn't lie. He had planned this.
"Elle, I want you to marry me."
Silence.
