A/N: Just a little one-shot. It's short and abrupt. I know, and no, it's not going to get any longer. Hope you like it.

She wanted him.

She wanted him so badly.

She wanted to push him up against a wall and kiss him.

She knew it was wrong. She knew it would never happen. It couldn't. They were step-siblings. It was a big "no-no," yet every time she saw him she had the urge to slap him then kiss away the pain. But she was Casey. The organized, rational, level-headed, rule-abiding daughter.

She had to keep her feelings in check.

Sam.

She sighed.

He was good-looking and nice. Not hot and rebellious.

Not like Derek.

She wondered why she was attracted to him at all. Probably because she thought he might be a little like Derek.

She was wrong and disappointed.

They were friends now and that was good.

Because she couldn't stand being with him, kissing him and mentally wondering what it would be like with Derek.

It was torturing her.

.x.

She was hot.

It was driving him crazy.

Everything she said drove him crazy.

He wanted her to let her hair down. He wanted her to wear tight clothing.

He wanted to kill Sam every time he saw them together. Sometimes he wished her mom had married someone else's dad so he could be with her.

He knew it was impossible.

But he couldn't stop wishing.

They were home alone and they were arguing about something, neither of them really knew what, but it didn't stop the insults from flying.

His voice had gotten lower as he got closer to her until she had her back to the wall.

He had his self-satisfied smile on his face, he knew he had won this battle of words. She hated him at this moment.

Suddenly they were kissing with their bodies pressed together.

She regained control of her body and broke the kiss.

She stormed off to her room, though not before she slapped him.

.x.

She sat in her room, close to tears. She was sorry it happened. Only because now that it had, she knew she wanted more.

She couldn't remember who kissed who first.

She sincerely wished it wasn't her because then she wouldn't look like such a fool for breaking up the kiss.

And it would mean that Derek wanted it.

.x.

He sat in his room, holding the cheek that she had slapped. He was in shock. He had kissed her.

He wasn't sure who started it, but he knew she had ended it.

He wouldn't press it any further and he would try to put her from his mind.

.x.

He was sitting on his bed when she stormed into his room.

He had no time to react before she was on top of him, kissing him.

He pulled her closer to him and smiled against her lips.

.x.

They were both in heaven.
