And this time it's a poetry collection. Kind of like a drabble collection, except all poetry. Don't see many on this website, though there's a truckload in the poetry section of FP.
1. In Knitting Hats and Scarves for the Elves
Every stich fell from the needle
to the form defined
by needles coaxed delicately
with hands new yet firm
and stubborn
Like always
there were standards to be met.
Every stich faced the scrutiny of her eye
until the piece was complete
And with one final glance
the seal of approval was stamped
and then buried
with the precise art her fingers formed
with little paper scraps.
