Stir.

Eyes began to open.

"Where am I?"

This wasn't home, or any other place familiar. Waking up on a wooden floor in what looked like a small-attic like room. Crates and boxes filled with antique items, broken and dusty clocks, and rusty gears surrounded him. Those crates and boxes placed against the walls.

Standing up to descend downstairs to exit the shop, an antique clock shop, eyes set on the outside of the building and what surrounded it was foreign. The street, rows of two-floor buildings lined to the street and skyscrapers in the background….everything! He had somehow entered into a world not his own and beyond understanding.

But, why?

"We would like you to come with us."

That proclamation puzzled him, causing him to gaze at two individuals in blue uniform, rapiers tucked in a scabbard at their belts. The shorter, blonde one resembled his friend; while the taller one was unrecognizable. He wondered if the shorter recognized him despite the shorter blonde being the one who said that statement.

"We asked that you comply to make things easy for you." The taller blonde remarked.

Perhaps he'll get answers in this world if he was taken. He let the two officers in blue take him to what they call a "Center" that resembled a hospital to the outside world.

He soon saw more faces that were familiar to him.

Every one he saw, they all seemed to deem whilst thinking the same thing about him.

"It is a possibility you're an illegal Strain."

What is a Strain? Illegal?

"We aren't certain of that yet."

Don't you all know me?

What….is this strange world? They seemed to know the basics of this world that he wondered if these individuals really are the ones he truly knows. If they were, why would they see him differently and ask these strange questions?

If it all comes down to it, he would have to search the answers himself; Alone. To find who he really is in this world, to find his place and reasoning of being sent here.

But, for now he'll be stuck in this "Center" as someone he thinks he isn't. He'll remain there as someone completely foreign to the outside world.

oooooooooo

I haven't been writing in months and feel so rusty with writing. Plus, not being able to write for months the inspiration is rusty; or it gets hard to get back into the feel of working on all those stories left incomplete. Soooooo…. Here's a short drabble based on a roleplay I've been doing with a friend on Skype. It's a CFV-G x K and the idea whether to write a full story based on it is pending. This drabble is sort of a preview of that pending idea.
