It was a clear night with a calm breeze blowing. A dark figure hid in the bushes just outside of the backdraft as a lone guard walks by.
"Man I hate guard duty." Said the guard
Just then the guard was ambushed from behind.
"Lights out." Said the mysterious thief
The thief takes the guards uniform and walks into the base without so much as a check for ID or nothing. He heads strait for the zoid hangar bay. As he is climbing into a gun sniper layon walks around the corner.
"Who's in there?" Asks Layon
"No one now go away." Said the thief
"I demand to know your name." Shouts Layon
"It's Wufei Darkwind." Said Wufei as he drops down on top of Layon
Wufei ties up the unconscious Layon and moves him to no one can see. He escapes the hangar but has a helcat behind him.
"Where are you going with that zoid?" asks the pilot
"I was told to patrol the area." Said Wufei
"I was not informed." Said the pilot
Wufei fires a missile and takes out the helcat. "Well you're informed now." Said Wufei
"Nice job stealing that zoid." Said another pilot
"Oh great more trouble." Said Wufei
"I'm not with the backdraft. My name is Trowa Hawkings." Said Trowa
"Okay what do you want?" asks Wufei
"A teammate if you would." Said Trowa
"Sure I need a team so who else is on." Said Trowa
"You're looking at him." said Trowa
"A two man team?" Said Wufei
"We can add others later." Said Trowa
The two head to Trowa's whale king and decide to wait till morning to look for a battle. Morning comes and the two head to a café in the next town.
"I think the sabers will be easy to take down." Said Trowa
"Yeah I think we should see how we do as a team and this will be a good test." Said Wufei
Just then the Blitz team walks in and grabs a table.
"That's the Blitz team." Said Trowa "They're pretty decent."
Bit over hears and nearly explodes
"What do you mean decent." Shouts Bit
"He means they think they're better." Said Brad
"Well I've never heard of them." Said Leena
"You seen the news?" Said Trowa "The two zoids stolen from the backdraft are our doing."
"What do you mean?" Said Wufei "I only took a gun sniper."
"Well I grabbed a command wolf before you got there." Said Trowa
"Look forget the sabers you're going to fight me." Said Bit
"I'll take you on." Said Wufei
The time of the battle came fast as the two pilots waited, finally the judge capsule fell.
"Battle mode 0034 Bit Cloud versus Wufei Darkwind ready….fight." Said the judge
Bit wasted no time and lunges right for Wufei but the gun sniper doges liger zeros attack. Liger swings again but is met with a kick from the gun sniper knocking it over. The gun sniper jumps on the liger zero and positions a claw right on liger's throat.
"I suggest you quit or say good bye to you hydraulic line." Said Wufei
"Okay, I give you win." Said Bit
"It was a good fight." Said Wufei
"Yeah you guys should join our team." Said bit
"Thanks but we'll pass for now." Said Trowa
The two teams part ways for now but they will meet again soon.
Authors note: Many of you will recognize Trowa and Wufei from a fic that Jon leonhart did. We went to high school together and did that fic with a couple of friends so he said I entitled to use the characters. Also I was the one who created Wufei, jon created Trowa and another friend created Hedoe Starwind which you'll meet later on.
