1I really read the lyrics to this song tonight and I got some inspiration to write this one shot. I hope you all like it.

Kagome pulled herself over the lip of the well and ran into her house and up to her room. When she got in there she shut and locked the door. She threw herself on her bed and cried. She had gone back to the feudal era and had once again seen Inuyasha and Kikyo together.
I'm such a fool. Inuyasha could never love me. Why? Why do I still care and why does it still get to me like this? I know that he has chosen Kikyo, so why do I still feel this way?
Kagome lay there. After about an hour she got up and turned on the radio. A song was ending and she turned around to go and sit back on her bed, when the song that was now coming from the radio hit her ears.
She knew the song well, and it fit the moment almost perfectly.

At this moment Inuyasha chose to land in the tree outside her window. Kagome was standing in the middle of the room singing along with the song.

as Inuyasha listened to her sing that song it made him realize what he had been doing. Inuyasha opened the window and slipped into the room. Before Kagome could say anything inuyasha closed the space between them and firmly planted his lips on hers in a gentle but loving kiss.
When they broke the kiss Kagome smiled and threw her arms around Inuyasha's neck. And thought to herself.
Maybe I should sing my emotions more often.
