It's the day after the league championships and the wildcats had won. Chad had invited his fellow teammates including Troy, Zeke, Jason as well as Ryan, Sharpay, Taylor, Kelsi and for Troy's sake Gabriella.

The gang were currently downstairs in Chad's game room about to play hide and seek in pairs. Chad and Taylor immediately hooked hands and said in unison,

"We are partners!"

Right after them Sharpay and Zeke along Kelsi and Jason said the same thing. Ryan announced to everbody that he would be it. So this left Troy and Gabriella to be partners.

Ryan started counting and everybody started to run in different directions. Taylor and Chad ran behind the couch, Sharpay and Zeke hid under the table, Kelsi and Jason hid behind the curtains, and Troy and Gabriella ran into the small closet than held chad's moms cleaning products.

As soon as they got in the closet they realized how small in was and tried to get out. But the handle wouldn't budge.

"Shit!" Troy exclaimed it's locked.

He turned to Gabriella with his face inches away from hers because of the small space they were in.

He tried to speak but he was so nervous his breath got caught in his throat. It seemed like hours that they we looked in their neither one of them wanting to talk. Finally Troy broke the ice and said,

"So..um.. how are you liking playing Hide and Seek."

Thinking to himself ,"God im such and idiot. She probably thinks im weird now. I could have said anything I wanted but no I said how she likes the game when we are looked in closet. God Troy you are so stupid!"

Gabriella said nerviously,

"Its nice but we are still stuck in a closet so it kinda is bad."

Troy decided now was the time to tell her his true feeling so he told her,

"Since we are kinda stuck in a closet and I don't think we are gonna be let out anytime soon. I kinda have something to tell you."

"Ok." Said Gabriella a little confused.

Troy breathed deeply and looked strait into her eyes and said,

"I love you. I have every since we sang together on new years eve party."

He looked at Gabriellas face and saw no emotion. He started to feel depressed and told her while looking down,

"Im sorry if that puts you in an akward position. If you don't like me back I understand."

What he didn't know was that Gabriella was smiling brightly when he said this and she put her two fingers underneath his chin and lifted his face to see hers. When Troy looked at her face he saw her face glisting with tears and he immediately was confused. Troy was about to tell Gabriella something but when he was about to speak Gabriella put a finger to his lips and said,

"Troy I love you too."

Right when Gabriella said that he started to smile brightly and slowly leaned his face to hers slightly. Gabriella moved a little until their lips met in a soft but passionate kiss. Both of them putting how much they felt about each other into the kiss.

They broke apart when air was needed with the biggest smile was on their faces. All of the sudden the door was unlocked and everybody was their just staring at them. Troy and Gabriella quickly stood up and got out of the closet. Everybody was wondering why they had the biggest grins on their faces when they came out. Chad asked Troy,

"Dude why are you smiling so big?"

All that Troy said was,

"I just realized how much I like Hide and Seek. What a good game to choose to play Chad. Thanks."

The rest of the night the group was wondering why Troy and Gabriella we so happy when they got out of the closet and all that Troy and Gabriella were thinking about was the sweet kiss they had shared together during Hide and Seek.
