E/O Challenge: clean. 3 x 100 word drabbles. #1: Dean's reaction to his good news grates on others. #2: Castiel's queuing in the wrong place at the wrong time. #3: Sometimes you have to hold off from giving them what they want for their own good. Seems I already had a story called 'Keeping it Clean'.

Still Keeping it Clean

Wiping the Slate Clean

Dean sauntered into the room with a cocky expression and whistling a jaunty tune. "Well, the clinic's given me a clean bill of health," he grinned, casually tossing aside his jacket. "I think I'll go out and celebrate," he added, waggling his eyebrows.

Sam frowned at this, frankly ridiculous, display, "Isn't that what got you into this in the first place?

"I guess I just can't stop spreading my message of love," Dean leered.

Castiel, silent until then, stood and walked out without a word.

"What's his problem?" asked Dean, his smile fading.

"Really?" Sam snorted, following after the ex-angel.

Clean Get Away

It was easy to forget there were threats other than the supernatural, considered Dean as he wrapped his arms tighter around Castiel. "You'll be okay; an ambulance is on its way."

"I always hated waiting," Castiel grimaced, before a sudden cough exploded another scarlet burst across his shirt front.

Dean applied pressure to the wound. The bullet had passed clean through; he could only hope it hadn't clipped anything of importance.

"Next time, I'm hunting and you can queue for the bank," Castiel coughed.

"Nah, I'm still on their wanted list," snorted Dean. "Besides, surely you'll get preferential treatment now?"

Clean Sweep

Sam had bitched and moaned, but in the end he'd relented. After all, what Dean and Cas had created between them was truly beautiful. It's just that Dean couldn't remember the last time they'd got down to it.

Dean shrugged. This wasn't what he was used to, or how he'd been brought up.

He knew he had his issues, but Castiel understood. The former angel had lived for thousands of years; he could manage to go without for another couple of hours.

Yep, the kitchen needed a thorough deep clean before he was making their famous gourmet burgers for lunch.
