Jumpy movements, loving hand,

Obeying all his low commands,

In the shadows, a single light,

In their eyes a world of fright.

All these memories of pain,

Have decomposed her pride and vain,

Whilst escaping from his hall,

All common sense took a fall,

Abandoning her thoughts and mind,

She left her beauty so far behind,

In more than one way, but of course-

Her beauty- her daughter- was taken by force.

But to leave or to go, she had to decide,

And she left without DEMETER by her side,

She left with a tear in her eye,

But with that and a nod for goodbye,

And Demeter was alone and afraid,

She made such bad choices- she needed to be saved.

With nothing left to hold near-

Without GRIZABELLA, her mother so dear,

With nothing before her, only behind her,

Who but BOMBALURINA should come and find her,

With two minds, two names, they could do much together,

And when the fall came- along with the rainy weather,

They stayed inside to think in the peace,

(Which was rare to come by- to buy, or to lease!)

And then the halls didn't seem so morose,

With a friend to hold you close.

And then noticed- they realized, in such a flurry-

That they had to leave, and they had to hurry,

Their home was not good, it was evil and bad,

If they stayed, they'd be driven insane, driven mad,

So they left as they could, with nothing to bring,

Save for the dances they dance and the songs that they sing,

They need to run- to get away home,

But to get home is hard when you're still fairly alone.

What should they find but a junkpile-

And with- some cats, a home so worthwhile.

The cats asked if they sang, and they did, so they said,

The cats asked if they were tired- please, rest your head.

And when they awoke, the world seemed so small,

A home was what they needed, after all.
