Just a little piece to lighten up my mood. Gwen-centric,pure gwen bashing. Mention of Janto.

People stared at her dress, gasping in awe. It flowed down, tumbling down in a waterfall of white. She walked down the aisle ever so slowly, the music playing gently. Everything was perfect. And then: rip.

Gwen's mouth snapped open as she looked down at her once beautiful wedding gown. That damned nail in the bench. This was supposed to be the greatest day of her life! Even if that nostrovite had spoiled everything, she'd hoped that she could salvage what was left of her wedding. She'd had to compromise on so much – the venue (she'd always wanted a fancy extravagant out of the ordinary wedding), her dress (thanks to the nostrovite again), even her man (how she had dreamt of Jack asking her to run from the altar) but not this! She was Gwen Cooper, she would not take this humiliation.

"OHHH GOD DAMN IT. YOU BLOODY NAIL!" she shouted as she turned around and tried to smash the seat with a punch, hurting her hand instead. Utterly flummoxed, she did her best imitation of a puppy face and turned to Rhys, her hurt hand raised, expecting him to smother her. Instead, she found her supposed fiancé talking to his mother and shaking his head. That bitch had too happy an expression on her face to be good. "What is this about? RHYS? Why did you get off the altar?"

"Uhmmm, Gwen, uhmm darling, I think we should cancel it," Rhys said, trying to calm her down.

"CANCEL? DO YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH MONEY WENT INTO THIS? HOW MUCH I HAD TO SUFFER FOR THIS DAY? AND YOU WANT TO CANCEL IT? YOU EXPECT ME TO COME HOME WITH YOU AFTER THIS?!"

"No, of course not Gwen. No one would be happier if you decide to find somewhere to crash. Thanks to that wonderful piece of metal that finally brought me to my senses," explained Rhys as he walked out with his parents.

"Come on team, not much to do here I guess, Go home, relax," Jack ordered. "Ianto, how about some chinese tonight?"

Gwen stood, her mouth still open as the lights of the hall went out.
