Almost 20 years after the events of the Ocarina of Time, Hyrule is in a state of seperation and segregation. Just as the country is in a weakpoint, however, an evil that everyone thought was gone reemerges, wreaking havoc upon the Goddesses creation.

Prolouge

Long ago, the elders and storytellers whispered of this legend...

17 years has passed since the Imprisoning War, Ganon's grasp on Hyrule had ended, and the Hero of Time had been taken away by the Goddess of Time, Nayru. New technologies and peace had emerged from the few survivors of this bloody war.

Hyrule Castle Town, although crumpled and in ruins, was moved to a more central location in Hyrule Field, which was surrounded by mountains, providing for safer security.

As a symbol of peace, and breaking of the seperations between the people of Hyrule, King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule invited the Gerudo and Sheikah into the Hyrule Castle area, and they slowly bred in with the Hylians, creating a new, mixed species, the Hyrulean. However, the new people had become racists and began discriminating against the non-humanoid races of Hyrule, including the forest-dwelling Kokiri, the rock-eating Gorons, and the fish-like Zora, causing the species to retreat further into the borders of Hyrule...
