It was midnight in the town of Mystic Falls. At the Salvatore Boarding house Damon Salvatore was trying to get some sleep but found it hard to come by when instead of hearing silence he heard his brother and his brother's girlfriend, Elena, shouting at each other.
"Why not!" Elena shouted
"Because it's a risk that I don't want to take!" yelled Stefan
"You are so over protective!"
After about two minutes Damon got out of bed and went into the top of the stairs and shouted, "Hey I have a great idea. Why don't you guys shut up!"
"No one cares what you want Damon!" Elena yelled
"Well excuse me for trying to get some sleep!"
"Shut up Damon." Said Elena
"Leave Damon alone Elena." Stefan said
"That's it I'm leaving."
"Finally." Said Damon. When the door slammed shut Damon went downstairs and sat next to Stefan on the sofa and said, "So what were you fighting about?"
"Nothing it's not important."
"I'm just glad that she's gone. Now I can get some sleep."
"Damon, wait."
"What now?"
"I'm sorry that we kept you up."
"I don't know why you're apologizing since Elena was yelling the loudest. I mean geese that girl can scream."
Stefan laughed and said, "Goodnight Damon."
"Night Stefan."
The next night wasn't very good either.
"Well if you won't do it voluntarily then I'll make you." Elena said
A couple seconds of silence passed and then Elena screamed, "Did you just push me?"
"Elena I told you that I don't want to take the risk." Stefan said trying to be calm.
"Oh my God Stefan! I am sick of you trying to protect me! Goodnight Stefan."
Damon waited a few seconds before he went downstairs and sat next to Stefan.
"We were fighting because I won't kiss her." Stefan said
"Why won't you kiss her?"
"Because I think that my blood lust is coming back and I don't want to hurt her."
"Oh Stefan. If you and Elena are going to fight, at least make it worth fighting over."
