This is my final tribute to a couple who did not see near enough screen-time. Though I will almost certainly write more stories about them, this may be my last story under the name "Queen of Sparrabeth". I nearly cried after watching AWE. They could have at least had a couple of Jack/Liz scenes!! I almost feel like a part of my identity has died. Goodbye Sparrabeth! DISCLAIMER: NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENEDED! I OWN NOTHING. IF I DID, JACK AND LIZZIE WOULD BE TOGETHER!!

"Goodbye." It was the hardest word she had ever said. This was too hard to survive. She could not go through with this. But what else could be done? She had married Will in a moment of foolish emotion in the middle of a battle, but now he was dead, leaving their marriage unconsummated. Jack was the captain of the Flying Dutchman. He was destined to roam the seas forever, only to step on land once every ten years. She was destined to go to Singapore and take up her place as pirate lord of that land. They would be separated. That was the way it must be, and there was no other choice. Will was dead, the only barrier between her and Jack was gone, but now they must say goodbye.

"Goodbye luv. I'm sorry I couldn't save Will." She shook her head. "You did the right thing. It was too late for Will as soon as Jones stabbed him. If you hadn't killed Jones, he would have killed one of us as well. The quicker he was gone, the better." Jack nodded hesitantly. "Lizzie, I would take you with me if I could." He glanced toward the setting sun, toward the ship that called supernaturally to him. She knew he would miss the Pearl. "Jack, do you really want to sail forever? If someone you love is waiting for you after ten years, you will be free." "I don't know luv. I'll know after ten years, but I won't have a choice, because no-one will be waiting." She looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "I will. I will be waiting in Singapore, ruling my motley band of scallywags, waiting for the great Captain Jack Sparrow to return and decide if he loves me enough to give up immortality."

Jack Sparrow's eyes filled with tears as he kissed Elizabeth Turner.

"I've already decided luv. Endless life without you is far worse than mere mortal life with you. Ten years, Lizzie luv, and I'll be back to make my Pirate King my bride. Goodbye for now, my love."
