One-ler's Harvest Song

Part of a fanfic that we are working on.

Yes, One-ler is part of the story, kinda.

More correctly the Once-ler is a cannibal, but doesn't really focus on just human meat.

It's mostly just another type of meat to him, like how pork is a different meat than beef.

This one has the attention span of a five year old and the maturity of a preteen.

He still has the smarts that he had at the end of "How Bad Can It Be" but has blocked most of the memories relating to the Thneed.

Liver, stomach, drain the stomach, unravel the bowels, squeeze them out, ew, bladder, mostly empty, kidneys.

Get the shears and pins

Ribs were tough to cut through and the skin of the back tended to slip.

Pin, pin, pin. Other side. Pin, pin, pin. Cut the skin nice and smooth.

Snip and crack, rib on one side. Snip and crack, rib on the other.

Catch the heart, catch the lungs, yum, yum, yum.

Pick up the organ trays, put them in the cooler, keep it fresh.

Pick up the ribs, put them in the cooler, keep it fresh too. Yummy, yummy, yummy.

Grab the meat trays.

Raise the body, slice the legs, careful, careful, careful, don't want bone.

Slice, slice, slice.

Cut away, cut away, cut away.

Click, clank, clunk. Drop the spine.

Crack, crack, clatter, clatter. Toss the shins away. Keep the thighs, keep the marrow, keep the broth.

Lower the body back down.

Crack, crack. Clatter, clatter, clatter, clatter. Squeeze the lovely pretty wrist bones.

Slice, slice, slice, slice, slice. Not much meat.

Clatter, clatter, toss the hands.

Crack, slice, slice, slice, slice. Bones worth the marrow.

Crack, slice, slice, slice, slice. Bones worth the marrow.

Slice, slice, slice, take the meat, drop the bones.

Slice, slice, slice, take the meat, drop the bones.

Back now, the yummy, meaty back.

Slice, slice, slice, slice, cut the meat back to front, cut the meat side to side, yum, yum, yum.
