Percy: WHAT?! O.O

Me: Nothing...

Percy: Please dont make me die...

Me: What about Annebeth?

Percy: Her either.

Leo: NO! Kill him! So ill be the main character!

Me: ...

Percy: ...

Leo: I mean... itll be good for publicity!

Percy: Not helping Leo.

Leo: ^.^

Me: OKAY! Lets start this story... *rubs hands together evilly*

Leo&Percy: *gulp*

Percy felt the cold from the air seeping through his tattered orange shirt. He felt Annebeth's weight on him. The opening to the pit was quickly shrinking into a tiny pinprick of light. Then it was gone.

They were free falling through the dark air. Percy only had three thoughts on his mind; Save Annebeth, Please dont let me die, and AHHHHHHHHHH!

His arms were wrapped around Annebeth, but he felt them weakening. He wouldnt be able to hold her much longer. Just as he felt his arms slipping away from her, he slammed onto the ground with such force he felt his right shoulder pop and something inside him snap. He blacked out, just after he made sure Annebeth was breathing.

Percy's eyes opened to the most beautiful face he had ever seen. Annebeth was checking his pulse. "Hey there." Percy grinned up at her. She stared at him, then smacked him in the chest. Something grinded inside of him. He coughed and gasped. "Is that the reward i get for saving you?" He weezed.

Annebeth frowned at him. Then her face broke into an unwilling smile. She leaned down kissed him breifly on the lips. When she pulled back up she was frowning again. "Hey... Dont frown." Percy reached up and tried to smooth out the wrinkles above her nose.

She brushed her fingers across her lips and stared at her fingers. "Percy... Percy is everything okay? Are you hurting?" She wiped her hand on her already dirty jeans. Under close scrutiny, Percy was extremely pale and looked like he was going to be sick.

He nodded and winced. Annebeth knew something was wrong when he layed back down on the cold ground. He winced when Annebeth pressed down on his chest. She shrugged, attempting to appear nonchalant, but Percy saw through her. "Eat this." She crammed something down his throat. Percy coughed and spluttered, shoving Annebeth away. He finally swallowed. Almost immediatly, he began to feel a warm sensation in his chest. He sighed as the sharp pain in his torso disapeared.

Annebeth pulled her boyfriend to his feet. "We better start walking if we're ever gonna get to the Gates." Percy grinned at her as he slung his arm around her.

"I'd walk anywhere for you."
