The Stranger Who Found God: Memoirs of an Alien and its Holy Encounter
Chapter 1: Doubting the Gods
6:53 AM; Titans Tower; 42 Floor Bathroom;
Starfire woke up in a bathtub half-empty/ half-full of cold water. It was almost pitch black throughout the room, except for the tiny line of light gleaming through the peaked-open door, for it was windowless. It took a minute for her to adjust to the dark. Her head was swirling, perhaps because she drank too much of the bad-tasting, foul-smelling liquid the Titans referred to as "booze". She hoped to her gods that that wasn't the case. She didn't remember much from last night, except vague loudness, much frivality, and lots of that terrible "booze" stuff. She paused for a moment, and hurled a thick red something into the tub (this was probably just her species' kind of vomit)."Ugh! My head!" She then slid down into the tub, and floated in her own waste-for now, she didn't care what she was in, as long as she could rest for jst a few moments. Her entire body felt like dead wait when she attempted to move-even the slightest head movement, or opening and closing her eyes, felt to her like "carrying the Earth on her shoulders", or whatever that Earthling phrase for carrying something too heavy is. "What in Bali's name happened last night?" she wondered, then blacked out.
