It was the very beginning of summer, as Hermione Granger sat under a tall tree, with a small pile of books at her side. She appeared to be reading a letter; the few other people in the park were talking, laughing, and playing. What Hermione was doing was the least of their concerns, since they didn't know her. Actually, Hermione was only pretending to read the letter, she was too lost in her thoughts. She had hardly even started reading the letter, it was written by the same person who was contained in her thoughts. A certain Harry James Potter. 'Why did I help him with Cho? How could that have happened? He's probably thinking about her now. Not that I blame him, considering she's everything I'm not. How could I have thought that he might...' She couldn't even say it to herself, much less to Harry. 'I think I would just die if I said that. I would probably be criticized by the whole school. Harry would never criticize me; he would be too embarrassed to say anything.' She couldn't help but to blush when she thought of Harry's grin... 'You'd think that I haven't seen him in five month's. Really, I only saw him yesterday...' Suddenly, she popped back into reality, as she saw a hand wave in front of her face. "Hellllooo, wake up!" a masculine voice said. "Todd don't be such a rude fruitcake!" an indignant feminine voice said. Hermione's eyes focused on a reddish-brown haired boy, who she supposed was Todd. "Oh!" At that Hermione turned to the other person, a girl who had curly reddish- brown hair and light blue eyes. "I'm sorry about what my brother did, he can be such a prat sometimes!" Then she noticed that Todd had light green eyes, which were filled with mirth. "I only wanted to ask a question." Todd said, looking towards Hermione he asked. "Is this a muggle area?" "Yes." Hermione answered truthfully. "I wonder why mum brought us here, then?" Todd asked his sister. "My lips are sealed." She said. "C'mon Aerie! I'm just a little bit curious." Todd stated. "I'm not telling." Aerie said. "I promised I wouldn't, I'm not even supposed to know!" "Oh c'mon!" Todd pried. "Ask Mum. Because I can't tell you." Aerie said truthfully. "Fine!" Todd said indignantly. Suddenly Hermione's thoughts returned to Harry. 'He could never like me I'm not pretty or popular...' Her eyes welled up with tears at the thought. "Are you alright?" Aerie asked, noticing Hermione's tears. "What's the matter?" Aerie shot Todd a look, as if saying 'Please go away, I'll help her.' "What's the matter?" Aerie repeated. "Boy problems?" "Yes..." Hermione answered meekly "It's alright, I don't mind helping you." Aerie said kindly. "What are friends for? "We're friends...?" Hermione said meekly. "Well, I'd like to be your friend." Aerie answered. "You won't laugh...?" Hermione asked "I don't have any reason too." Aerie said. "I'd like that very much." Hermione said happily. "I'm not used to having many friends." "I'm not either, but that doesn't matter." Aerie said happily

Aerie: So how do you like my story so far? It takes place where the fifth book ended, which was the best book in the series. I'm fairly happy about how this turned out sooo. Please review. If any of my reviewers are worried about me not updating, don't. I just have writer's block for that story. I don't own Harry Potter, but I do own the Moondrop family (Todd, Aerie, their Mum, their Dad, and grandparents.) See you! Harry+Hermione Forever!
