Emmett sat on the couch an turned on the tv. Time flew by and before he knew it, the moon and sitting at its highest peak. He didn't know what else to do, so he went out to the garage and hopped in jeep. Emmett flew down the road. No headlights. Nothing to help him illuminate the darkness. He didn't care. Nothing could slow him down. He pulled over on the side of the highway and shut off his car. He reclined the seat all the way back and sat there thinking for well over an hour. The sun brightened the horizon and he finally decided to go home. He pulled into the garage and when he got there his parents Carlisle and Esme were waiting there. Emmett stepped out of his car and confronted his Mother and Father figures. "We heard Rosalie did. We're very disappointed in her and we let her know. She said she is very sorry and all she wants is for you to talk to her." Carlisle said in his ever so calm voice. Emmett sighed, "I'm not talking to her. I just need some time away from her. I cant look at her let alone talk to her. I bet she didn't even think of me while she was doing what she did." Emmett's eyes began to water and he tried his hardest to keep the tears back but the continued to flow in a steady pace down his gorgeous face. He walked into the house and Edward was on the couch, awaiting his arrival. Emmett paused to look at Edward. He sat down next to him and smiled. "How are you?" Edward questioned. "I'm better now." Emmett said in a happy tone. "Oh really, why is that?" Edward asked with an upward inflection. Emmett smile and answered. "Cause im with you now." The statement gave Edward butterflies. "About that kiss earlier. What did that mean?" Emmett looked into Edwards topaz eyes. Edward looked around to see if anyone was around. He leaned in and kissed Emmett again. A better kiss this time. Edward pushed himself on top of Emmett. He began running his fingers through Edward's wild, shaggy hair. A door opened and Edward jumped off of Emmett and the both sat up like nothing had even happened. Jasper walked out into the room where Emment and Edward sat quietly. "Emmett, are we cool?" Jasper asked. "Yeah, of course we are!" Emmett got up and gave Jasper a brotherly hug. "Where am i gonna stay tonight, im not going in that room with Rosalie." "You can hang out in my room." Edward offered. "Thanks bro, your the best!" Edward, Emmett, and Jasper walked down the hall. Jasper turned into his room and got on the bed and pulled out a book. Once Jasper was in the room, Edward and Emmett intertwined fingers.
