Wow, I haven't been writing any Primeval in a LONG time. Sorry about that. I've been busy with school the last few months. A musical where I stayed in school until 5 about 4 or 5 days a week. Stupid school projects, field trips and essays that are still continuing. Boo. I've also been busy with 2 Frozen stories. Here you go. Takes place after series 5.

Abby's POV

Normal days in the ARC always weren't normal enough. There was always something different, even if we didn't really know what it was. We had to remember to expect the unexpected. It could have be the worst part of the day, or the best and no one really had a usual schedule once they got to the ARC for work.

I laid in bed thinking about the past at the ARC. What Connor and I had been through to be back at the ARC and alive. Everything was perfect now. Rex was fine, other things had changed and Connor was the Connor we all knew and the one I loved.

I sighed, knowing it was sadly time to get up. I ran my fingers through my hair that was now longer than before, almost reaching my shoulders.

I turned over to Connor to see that he was still fast asleep. I decided to let him sleep in for a little while.

I carefully sat up and got out of bed, careful to not wake Connor up. He needed the sleep.

I quietly took a short shower and cleaned up, did my makeup and got dressed.

"Please make this work," I whispered to myself while brushing my now dry hair. I looked into the bedroom mirror, I really wanted my relationship with Connor to work out. The whole Philip thing freaked the both of us out and we were still recovering.

"Hey, no fair, you let me sleep," Conner said still half asleep.

"Hello to you too, and yes I did let you sleep," I replied. I walked back to the bed and lied down with Connor, who wrapped his arms around me.

"Come on, let's go," Connor said after a small while. I nodded slowly. The ARC scared me sometimes now that we were back. I always expect something terrible to happen even though that's not true. Something bad doesn't always happen there, right?

Once Connor was ready we left the flat to go to the ARC. Each day in the ARC gets more interesting by the minute.
