/1.) you may have come out here with your brothers, sisters, lovers, friends, but it doesn't matter who you are anymore. the deserts in charge now and its not gonna give you nada except dirt and ruins. you want more, you beg, barter, or steal. stealings not a good idea, because the only ones to steal from are the dracs and the other runners, either way, your gonna get dusted for sure unless you have a neon fucking angle on your shoulder.
/2.) out here in the brave new world you keep your boots tight and your gun close. you'll be getting a lazer soon, make sure to customize it
/ 2.5) get a map of the zones, learn it, live it, love it. Some zones are never safe. Most have areas that get nasty, depending on the weather. That doesn't count the surveillance drones, the drac patrols, and the poison gas our friends the SCARECROWs like to surprise us with.
/3.) find somebody you can trust to have your back, and make sure you've got theirs. /once out of the city and in a safe house, you'll get a survival kit/survival kits contain : 1 laser 1 rebreather (if you find a mechanic you can get them to customize it into a helmet but till then its just a mouthpiece) and a map / heres your new best friend tumbleweeds, learn it, live it, love it. pick a zone and keep it.
