Oh Great thought Lorelai Lindskoog, a journalism freshman at USC, as her teacher slapped down a pile of magazines in front of them First day back from winter break and already we have to get going.

"In front of you are a stake of magazines," stated her teacher "These represent all kinds of news, news of issues, news of war, news of happiness, or just news of stupid celebrities love lives," he said as he picked up a magazine and handed it to Lorelai "It doesn't matter if its what you want to read or write about, all that matters is what SELLS!" Lorelai looked at the magazine handed to her, on the cover was a picture about a young couple and there was a tare done the picture that she took as a sign that they broke up. She looked at the guy and he had hottest eyes she has ever seen. She threw it back in the pile.

"Now I am going to pass around this hat and in the hat there are different topics and I want you to write about the one you get as if it is the most important thing to you. Make it interesting, I don't want to be able to take my eyes off of it!" said the professor. "Ok get going, see you Thursday."

Lorelai was gathering her stuff when Stephanie came into the class room. Her and Stephanie had been friends ever sense seventh grade and they both moved down to LA together to go to college.

"Ok Lore," said Stephanie as she sat down on the desk "I just got out of my business class and I have a credit card that is feeling neglected." Lorelai laughed as she picked up the last of her stuff and grabbed a slip from the hat and handed it on.

"Steph I don't think that card has ever felt neglected," teased Lorelai as she and Stephanie walked out of the class room and towards the parking lot "it probably would love a vacation once in a while."

"Haha," said Stephanie "well that credit card your parents gave you is getting its exercise to." The reached Stephanie's new Cadillac Escalade and they both climbed in throwing their stuff in the back Stephanie said "Ok Lore I want to have some serious fun tonight and I have a friend who is a friend of a bouncer at a club that all the celebrities hang out at."

"I don't know Steph, I just got this huge project I should get started on…"

"LORELAI LINDSKOOG! This is COLLEGE! We are SUPPOSED to have crazy fun! We live in LA for Christ sakes! We HAVE to do this and your going if you really want to or not!" Lorelai thought about what she said, this was college and college is supposed to be the time to "let your hair down" as her grandma would put it. And she never got to do stuff like this in High School because her parents were religious nuts and partly because her brother Peter was totally wild and crazy in High School and after that her parents really layed down the law with Ben (her other older brother) and her. Why not? She thought it would only before a couple of hours and she could always write her story later.

"Ok," she said as she and Stephanie arrived at their apartment (courtesy of their parents) "lets go."

"Great I'll call Brian and he will tell his friend to look for us," said Stephanie as she and Lorelai were walking towards their door.

This will be fun and it might give me a chance to interview a celebrity thought Lorelai as she saw that her assignment was "interview a celebrity".
