Cordelia set the blood down in front of Angel. "I changed it up to make it a bit more festive."

Angel sniffed the blood when Cordelia turned her back to get the TV dinners out of her oven. His nose wrinkled momentarily but he appreciated the thought. "Smells like pumpkin pie."

"Duh. Because I put pumpkin pie spice in it." She rolled her eyes at the clueless vampire. She took one tray, setting it down in front of Wesley and then one at her place. She sat down.

"Thank you, Cordelia. This looks lovely." Wes was relieved that when Cordelia had invited them over for Thanksgiving dinner, she wasn't planning to cook.

"Hey, only the best for my guys. I sprung for the Marie Callender ones instead of the cheapo Swanson ones. And that is fresh pig's blood. As in, I stood there and watched them do it. You owe me a new pair of shoes, Angel." Cordelia raised her glass. Angel then raised his glass of blood. Wesley was the last to raise his glass.

"Okay, I made the dinner; one of you slackers has to do the toast." Cordelia said.

"I don't do toasts." Angel said. It was another thing to add to his lists of "don'ts".

"Well, I think I might be the right man for the job." Wesley cleared his throat and straightened his tie. "There comes a time in every man's life when he must look to his friends and I say to you that this time is now and the friends are…"

"Wes, hurry up, my gravy is turning into the revolting blob here." Cordelia poked it with a fork.

"Ah, yes, where was I…" Wesley struggled to remember.

"I think you were at 'let's eat'." Cordelia replied.

"Yes, then, well…let's eat."
