Character History: When she was just a little girl, Yang stumbled upon a crashed spaceship that was full of alien technology, and found a dying alien Huntsman known as Khyber. As the alien was dying, he entrusted the young girl with his most prized possession; the Nemetrix. With it, she became a heroine who can shift between predatory creatures with just a thought, and rarely has to rely on the transformations during her training as a Huntress. But during the Vytal Tournament, her instincts scream at her to avoid Mercury Black and Emerald Sustrai at all costs.
So strong are her instincts, that she transforms into her Tyrannopede transformation and begins to fight against them in self-defense. Lucky for her, Ironwood and Atlesian Military Specialist Winter Schnee, can easily tell this is the case and rush in to help her against them and regain control over herself alongside her secret boyfriend, Jaune Arc. They succeed in calming her down to a more rational level, and thanks to the webbing ability of Centasaurus Rex, they also manage to capture Mercury and Emerald and get quite a bit of juicy information out of them.
Now, with information about Cinder's plan to kill the Fall Maiden and take the remainder of her power for herself in the name of her mistress, Salem, can Yang stop these dark forces? Or will her world be forever plunged into darkness?
Story Requirements:
1.) Yang must be given the Nemetrix by Khyber as he's dying.
2.) Yang is not, I repeat; NOT, going to be evil in this fic!
3.) Yang still goes through her Huntress training at Beacon.
4.) DragonSlayer shipping must happen in this story! I don't care how you make it happen, just make it happen!
5.) Ozpin and the staff at Beacon know about the Nemetrix and help train Yang to use her predators in battle.
6.) She must have Skurd partner up with her before the Vytal Tournament.
7.) And finally, the events of her getting framed don't happen in this story due to her trusting her base predatory instincts.
