Ship at Storm

The ship creaks and groans as the winds blow

The captain fights back at his unseen foe

Waves crash heavy and hard upon her sides

Sailors dash quickly into cabins to hide

An avenging angel lands on deck

As the ship begins to glow

His voice echoes 'round them like terrible thunder

"Ye shall all pay for your blunders

But the pure hearts among you,

Boy and dog, two,

They alone shall escape and be saved

Because themselves they have behaved."

Thrown into tempestuous seas

Living young eternally

They watch the ghost ship's mast loom higher

Lit up by blinding St. Elmo's Fire

Called by the sound of a bell

These two young souls, saved from hell

They walk this earth yet still

Bringing with them cheer and good will

A boy and his dog, two castaways.
