Life out on the sea is something that I love. I have adored it ever since I was a little girl. Sailing in all types of weather, I know that people think I am crazy for it, but it is a way that I can connect to my father. Things changed for me when he died. I was lucky to inherit his old ship that he called The Golden Lion. At first I though it was a silly name. But then I found out that there was a whole back story with it.

I was currently sitting in the Captains cabin with my first mate and my two best friends. Let's see first there is Harry he has jet-black hair and bright green eyes. When I first met him, I found it hard to get a read on him but, over the years he had become a good friend of mine. Then there is my other best friend known as Ronald but, we all call him Ron. He has fiery red hair and piercing blue eyes. I met him when I came aboard the ship with my father for the very first time. Ron's father was my father's, first mate. To me, Harry and Ron are a bit too stylish to be pirates, but hey ho. I can't complain I mean they have been there for me since the beginning. Lastly, there is my first mate Ginevra, but, she loathes that name so, she is known as Ginny. She also happens to be Ron's youngest sister. She has fiery red hair a bit like her brother but, instead of the piercing blue eyes she has chocolate brown eyes.

I was sitting in a chair at the top of a table which laid a map of the sea and the nearby lands. The three of them were stood at the opposite end arguing among each other. "I am telling you we need to make land," Ginny argued but was cut off by Ron.

"No, we need to stay on course," he argued back.

"I have to agree with Ron. Ginny if we go to land now we cannot go onto land again. At least for a while." Harry argued.

Most days were like this all I did was sit back and listen to them bicker between themselves. I felt a headache coming on so I started to rub my temples trying to ignore them. But their voices just got louder and louder. "If we make it to port now the crew will die!" Ginny screamed.

"The crew will live!" Ron shouted back, that was when I had enough. I grabbed the sword that was laid next to me on the table and threw it across the room at Ron.

He quickly ducked out the way and, it flew into the wall behind him. That was when three pair's of eyes bored into me in shock. I rose from my seat and walked over to them my boots clicking on the floor as I walked. "Hermione…" Harry started.

"I thought that I was Captain, Ronald," I said in a cold voice cutting Harry short.

"Of course you are but the crew thinks…" Ron stuttered out.

"The crew thinks? Or you think?" I said in a dangerous voice to the trembling redhead.

"You know I asked you to come on this adventure with me Ronald because I thought that you could handle it. But instead, all you have done is argue with your sister!" I snapped. "We will make land to get more supplies and, you will follow my orders Weasley do I make myself clear?" I asked. He just looked at me and nodded his head lost for words. He bowed ever so slightly and quickly marched out of the room and up to the deck.
