A/N: another oneshot! I know I have no life…:-D

"Messer!" someone screamed down the hall, he rolled his eyes stopped and turned around.

"What?!" he asked aggravated as he realized it was Flack.

"Lunch, lets go." Flack said as he watched Danny move towards him.

When they arrived at the diner, they sat at their normal table and waited for the waitress to come up take their orders and of course flirt with the two sexy detectives.

"So I gotta ask you a question." Flack said as he fiddled with his napkin nervously.

"What?" Danny asked confused at Flacks change in behavior.

"Can I ask Lindsay out?" Danny looked up at his friend like he wanted to kill him.

"Only if ya wanna die." Danny warned accent thick, eyes cold and threatening. Flack bit his lip and nodded. 'No fucking way is he touching my girl' Danny thought to himself 'Best friend or not'.

Flack nodded understanding, and dropped it. As soon as they returned to their normal conversation about sports and stuff, Lindsay of course walked through the door catching both Danny and Flack's attention. She wasn't alone, her friend was with her as they sat at the counter. It was her day off and that's what the two detectives attributed her outfit to. She was wearing tight jeans and Danny's favorite hoodie, her hair pulled up out of her face. Danny couldn't help but smile.

"Lindsay!" Flack called catching her attention immediately. Danny turned around to look at Flack and glared at him, he and Lindsay had barely talked since their break-up.

"You really wanna die today don't ya Don." Danny warned as he narrowed his eyes at Flack and scooted over in the booth so someone could sit next to him. He turned and looked at the girls approaching and gave them a smile before turning back to Flack. "She's not sitting next to you."

"Little Bossy aren't you Dan?" Lindsay friend Krissy asked as she sat next to Flack, leaving Lindsay to sit next to Danny which he was grateful for.

"No, he's just lonely." Flack retorted as he placed his arm around Krissy. Lindsay laughed as she looked at Danny who was glaring at Flack. Danny turned to look at Lindsay, and just gazed at her while Flack and Krissy chatted.

"What Danny?" Lindsay asked as she gazed back at him, he was acting strange, he wasn't flirting with her, he hadn't even said anything to her yet.

"You're wearing my hoodie." He stated as tugged on the string for the hood, his hand grazing her neck causing her to shiver.

"It's my favorite." She said simply taking his hand.

"Why?" he asked intertwining their fingers bringing their hands to rest on his leg. He waited for her answer patiently and he couldn't help himself when he placed a fallen curl behind her ear.

"Reminds me of you." She said knowing he would know exactly what she meant, knowing he would know that she liked it because it smelt like him, was warm like him, made her feel safe like he did. She watched as he licked his lips knowing what his next move was, she meat him half way. The kiss was everything they didn't know how to say to each other. They pulled away from each other when the giggling from the other side of the table got un-bearable.

"Now Messer, I would have sat next to you if I'd known I would be kissed like that." Krissy smirked at him as Lindsay scooted out of the booth and he followed.

"You wouldn't have been." Danny said simply as he followed Lindsay out of the diner.
