CORE'S POV
i was so excited about seeing the band i havent seen them in over two years i was 17 now. I had to live with my dad for awhile since my parents are divorced and he wanted to spend time with me the band understood why i had to leave so they promised to keep up on the gigs, i was on my way home in my black truck when i started thinking on how the band would react to me being a week early coming home i told them i was coming home on july 30 when i was really coming home on july 24 i smiled when i couild finally see them again
with the band transition
laney's pov
me, kon and kin were sitting in kon and kins basement it was the only place to practice since we couldnt use coreys garage. I sighed deamily "corey" the name felt so right to say, he gave me goosebumps whenever he talked to me. I couldnt wait to see him next week as i was thinking i heard someone snickering in the backround i turned my head and saw kin and kon trying to hold back laughter they knew i had the hots for core. My face became red i must of said what i was thinking out loud.
"Shut up guys," i said embaressed
"sorry Laney, its just i can only imagine what you think of corey on a daily basis"
"Kin stop it, i can only imagine what you think of l kim on a daily basis" i countered he went silent for a moment then said
"touche" i smiled at winning the argument as i was enjoying my victory i heard someone pull up in kin and kon's driveway.
"whos that?" kon asked, kin shrugged
"lets go see" i sighed i really didnt want to go see whoever pulled into the twins driveway but i followed them anyway up the stairs. We opened the garage door and saw on the driveway a black pickup truck as the door to the truck opened and who came out of the car was someone i have never seen before but made my legs go weak but wait who else has blue hair except... core?! Mine and the twins eyes almost bulged out of our sockets he changed so much, His sapphire blue hair didnt hold his ususal beanie but instead his hair was carefree he had grown some stuble on his face giving him a rough look, he looked more masculine than he did before and had gotton taller. He was wearing jeans that were a bit dirty with grass stains on them and a bit ripped, black converse and a black shirt that had grojband's logo on it, all in all he looked a little like nick mallory but had a bit of edge to him
"hey guys" he said with his signiture corey riffen smile it was silent
"sooooo whats everyone staring at?"
