April 25 Challenge
When Sully and Michaela were first "dating" Michaela was scared and nervous about intimacy. When Sully kissed her she stood there bravely and let him, but stiffened up and never kissed him back or enjoyed the touch of his lips. Her mother had told her the physical side of marriage was a "wifely duty" and Michaela thought that included kissing. She knew it was part of courting so she let Sully do it, but she never relaxed or enjoyed it.
One day when they were taking a walk with Wolf in the woods they sat down on a fallen log. Wolf came over to Sully and kissed him on the lips. Michaela thought to herself, "Why can't I do that, be spontaneous?" As they continued sitting there Sully leaned over to kiss Michaela.
When she tasted Wolf on his lips she said, "Yuck."
As she pushed him away she was really mad so she grabbed his cheeks and squeezed as hard as she could to make her point. She was envious of Wolf who felt free to kiss Sully whenever he wanted to, but she didn't want to kiss Wolf or play second fiddle to Sully's pet. She wanted him to enjoy kissing her not his wolf.
Looking into her eyes Sully saw his plan was working. He could see Michaela wanted to kiss him, but was afraid. He loved Michaela so much that he would wait forever if need be. Michaela's fear of the physical side of life was another reason Sully hated Boston's rules. He blamed those rules for making Michaela as up tight as she is. Sully felt that if he could ever get past the things Michaela had been taught as a child he would find a very sexy woman. Sully was a moral man. He didn't drink or smoke or visit Hank's girls, but he was comfortable with his own body and felt relaxed in intimate situations. He intended to work on Michaela until she was the same. He hoped it wouldn't take too long because his cheeks really hurt. This petite woman had a lot of strength in those little hands of hers.
