The Heart of the Storm

"Born in the heart of the storm, only he, the Clans' destroyer, can save them," is the prophecy of Stormykit, the sole child of Snowbriar, former deputy of NightClan, and Mottleflare, a warrior of FallowClan, although his kin steer the lives of the Clans of Sun, Moon, and Light. What is the destiny of this "prophesized warrior" and what will he be forced to sacrifice to fulfill it?

Okay, earlier I was working on a self-made name generator and this idea just popped into my mind, so I had to write it straight away.

"Hurry! Get Hickorybreeze!" A white-and-black tom gasped. "Mottleflare's kits are coming!"

A gray tabby she-cat pushed past him to where a mottled she-cat lay, panting hard as thunder rolled above her as rain beat down on her. "It's alright, Cloudshadow, Mottleflare will be fine. She's not the first queen to ever have kits."

Before Cloudshadow could reply, Hickorybreeze slid into the small hollow beside Mottleflare. "It's okay, Mottleflare, you're going to be fine. And soon you'll have healthy kits!"

Mottleflare groaned, eyes rolling. A spasm gripped her, and a little gray kitten slipped out. Lightning struck the earth beside it.

Hickorybreeze's eyes widened. "Born in the heart of the storm, only he, Clan's destroyer, can save then."
