"Henry, get back here!" Emma's yells trailed the little tyke who squirmed away just as she'd gotten him out of the tub.
Emma grunted, grabbing his towel and following behind him. Regina never seemed to have this problem with Henry, it was always her! She called his name in the hallway after losing sight of him. When that didn't work -because of course, that was no fun, Emma- She searched his favorite hiding places.
Out of luck, with a sigh she caved and went to ask Regina for help.
"Regina, I lost-" she stopped short when she spotted the naked little boy, snuggled into his brunette mother as she read from her book; glasses perched on her nose with a subtle but amused smile in her nonchalance "seriously?!"
Henry giggled behind his tiny hands then threw them up and shouted " M'mah!" like he was suprised to see her "… 'mon, mommy wead us stowwy"
Regina laughed looking down at Henry then peered up at Emma "Having trouble dear?"
Emma snorted before going over to wrangle up the tot "Come here you" she grabbed at his feet from the end of the bed and pulled him up, letting him dangle upside down momentarily as he squealed. "Let's go get your reindeer jammies on and I'll tell you what mommy got you for Christmas!" She smirked at Regina as the boy now went willing, nearly jumping into the towel she was holding open for him.
Regina narrowed her eyes "You better not Miss Swan or you'll be sleeping on the floor tonight."
"M sleep wif me?" Henry offered with a toothy grin
Emma smiled as her heart melted "Awe, thank you buddy" She hugged him closer to her "Let's go before the grinch doesn't let us have hot chocolate either" She stage whispered carrying Henry out.
"Miss Swan!" was yelled after them causing them to laugh and make a run for the kitchen.
