A/N: I'm not one of this best poem writers in the world ok, so please don't expect some sort of replica of Edgar Allen Poe's poems or anything.Anyway, this was a poem I had written some while ago and it deals with Kaoru's thoughts on her unrequited love for Kenshin. Kaoru is a bit OC here, but aside from that I personally think of it as a good poem. So either tolerate it, hate it, or enjoy it, as long as you read andreview it, I'm be fine. So,R and R,PLEASE! All I ask is but for a few reviews….

Disclaimer: The oh so holy wonderfulness that is Rurouni Kenshin is owned by the inhumanly smart and talented Nobuhiro Watsuki. Honestly, would you think that the words "smart and talented" would fit such a person as I? Don't even answer….

Intertwining with Sorrow

She watches in silence up at the sky
As drops of frozen rain
Fall aimlessly from above
Gentle soft tears from heaven
Landing silently on the ground

The few drops of white snow
Land gently on her cheeks
And melt
The water quickly merging with the tears running down her face

Her eyes, misted with sorrowful tears
Her face, an almost beautiful shade of scarlet
As the white snow continues to fall

The pure snow seems cleansing,
Seems to be washing away all of her sorrow
But that is not true

The remnants join together
with her tears
The tears cried from her grief
Her fears
Her sorrow

The white snow falls gently from the sky
Landing on her rosy red cheeks
And intertwining with her tears
Intertwining with her sorrow
