Author's Note: Surprise! All of these characters belong to me. (: The main characters are an unusual married couple: Alexander (a vampire, called Lex) and Remy (a shape-shifter). The setting is modern day San Francisco, California. Another ABC prompt because I love these dearly. Sorry I haven't been keeping up with my fics, I just haven't gotten much inspiration lately (until now). I was going through a period of pessimistic thinking, and I don't usually come up with the lovey-dovey stuff I usually write. But I'm very glad to be back and inspired by a little love in my life. Thanks for you patience, my loves!
A is for Addict
A dirty-blonde man's eyes snapped open. It was the middle of the night, and in the dark above him, he saw glowing yellow eyes staring fiercely into his own. From somewhere in the darkness, he heard a low growl.
"Damn it, Rem!" He exclaimed, wrapping his arms around a night-colored panther that was crouching over him as he lay in bed. The large cat purred, then began to change. Lex could feel the shifting under his hands as the panther morphed from a beast into a human form.
Soon, Lex had a naked, petite woman cradled in his arms. Her brunette curls were splayed over his arms, and her light brown eyes sparkled mischievously. As he felt her curves pressed against him through the sheets, he felt a warmth in his stomach and his fangs immediately came out.
Remy, his wife, nuzzled her nose against his cheek affectionately. "Turned on, are we?" She asked him, laughing.
Lex grumbled. "The sun isn't even up yet." He pulled her closer to him, pulling her hips against his. "Why do you always do this to me?" He whined, kissing her neck softly and grazing her fragile skin with his fangs.
The woman grinned. "Say please, Alexander."
Lex looked up at her light brown eyes for a moment before speaking. "Please?" His expression was grave, though such an expression usually decorated his undead face.
Remy dipped her face so it hovered right over his. "Forgive my lips..." She seemed to purr just before her mouth touched his.
Kissing her back, Lex brought his hands up to tangle in her hair. He kissed her desperately and without shame, because he wanted more and more of her.
He was an addict, and Remy was his favorite drug.
