Chapter 1 Welcome To Pallet Town

"Hello" A boy said "I'm Mario, I am from the newest city in the Kanto Region, Green Town it's also the most northern city. It has no gym or PoKE-Mart all it has is a Pokemon Center and a few homes. For a year now I've been taking Professor Oaks Pokemon Training Corse on the computer and now I'm traveling to Pallet Town to chose my Pokemon

A car was driving by. The boy Mario is sitting in the car that was driven by a woman possibly his mother. Soon they passed a sign saying "Welcome To Pallet Town". Soon the car entered the town it was a small town and soon the car stopped at a Pokemon Lab

"Professor Oak's Pokemon Lab" The woman said "You made it son"

"All thanks to you mom" Mario said

"Well" His mom said "You'd better get going before your late"

"Your right mom" Mario said as he stepped out "Have a nice trip home"

"Honey" his mom said "Give me a hug"

Mario walked around to the other side of the car and gave his mom a hug

"Come see me before you become a hot shot Pokemon Trainer" his mom said

"I will" Mario said

"Make Green Town proud" His mom said

"I will mom" Mario said

Mario walked to the Lab and the car drove north. Then Mario walked in and saw a boy with red hair

"Greg!" Mario said as he walked in. Greg was Mario's friend until the two of them decided to become Pokemon Trainers then they became Rivals

"Well, well, well it's Mario" Greg said "You made it all the way over here on time!"

"Well I did" Mario said "Where's the Professor?"

"Not here" Greg said "But he should be here shortly"

"Well I can't wait to get my Pokemon" Mario said

"I know what type you'll be getting" Greg said "Fire right"

"It's my favorite type" Mario said

"Water is way better" Greg said

"No way" Mario said "Fire Pokemon are number one!"

"Right" Greg said sarcastically

"Then pick them already" an old man said

"Professor Oak!" Mario and Greg both said

"Pick your Pokemon" Oak said

"Ok" Greg said walking to the table "I'll pick Squirtle"

Mario walked over to the table

"And I'll pick Charmander" Mario said

"Good" Oak said "You have a long journey ahead of you. You need to start"

"Wait" Mario said "How will we know where to go?"

"Oh I forgot" Oak said as he walked to his desk and pulled out two red computers "This is a Pokedex you'll need this on your journey"

"Cool" Mario said

"It also contains a map so you can know where you're heading" Oak said

"Good" Greg said

"Then you two get going" Oak said

Mario began to walk out of the lab

"Mario" Greg said "I challenge you to a Pokemon battle!"

"What?" Oak said

"We need to see what's better Water or Fire" Greg said

"You're on!" Mario said
