Nani pitched the toaster and its flaming contents out the window with a frustrated shout. How had Lilo and Stitch thought it would be a good idea to make a grilled cheese in there?!
She chased down the screaming little girl, dropped her on the bed, rolled her up in a blanket. "Go to sleep."
"It's not even seven o'clock yet!" Lilo protested with that stubborn tone.
"I don't care!" She shouted in a rage. It was one huge mess after another, one broken item after another, one problem after another and it was just getting to be too much. "Sleep! Now!"
"I'm not tired!" Lilo argued, wriggling to get free of the blanket. "I'm gonna get up and play whether you like it or not! I'm gonna sew together all my socks and make goblins to play with and..."
Nani slammed the door and growled at the continuing tirade from the irritating little girl. "I wish the goblins would take you away right now!"
She slammed a fist against the door and started to walk away but froze in the silence. Silence? Usually that sort of thing brought horrified wails from her little sister but this…
"Very mean." Stitch said from nearby.
"Yeah… I guess it was." She admitted, cracking the door open. The blanket was empty on the bed. Silence. Is she even capable of silence? "Lilo, I'm sorry..."
"It's too late. She's gone." A man's amused voice said from nearby.
She grabbed the nearest weapon and leapt into the room brandishing the mop at him. "How did you get in here and what did you do with my little sister, you pervert!?"
The man dressed in absurd clothing with strange, fluffy hair raised an eyebrow. "You wanted the goblins to take her and so they have. She's in my castle and will remain there. You really should consider your words more carefully if you say things you don't mean."
"Give her back." Nani demanded and prodded at him with the mop as Stitch clung to one leg, growling.
He snapped and the mop vanished along with the room around her. "Think carefully before you make demands, girl. If you want her back you can try to reach her through my labyrinth… Fail and I will keep her."
"You think a few walls are going to keep me from getting Lilo back?" Nani snarled.
"Well then, you have thirteen hours. Good luck." He smirked and disappeared.
"We find her soon." Stitch assured from beside her.
"If we don't I'm going to strangle that guy." Nani muttered, looking at the high walls surrounding the labyrinth in front of them. The castle looked so far away…
At least I have Stitch to help. She thought to herself as she headed off in search of a door.
