Pre Wedding Jitters
Did someone say wedding Sherlolly? No. Well I'm writing one anyway.
"Oh, Molly!" Mary exclaimed, a wide smile spreading across her face as she looked over at her friend, dolled up and in her white flowing dress that suited her perfectly, "You look gorgeous!"
Molly blushed and smiled nervously at her maid of honour. "Are you sure? I'm a little nervous," she muttered, fiddling with one of her curled locks.
"I'm positive, sweetie, you'll do absolutely fine," Mary assured her, coming closer to her friend.
Molly continued to look at herself in the mirror, feeling tears begin to well up in her eyes. "I'm getting married."
"Sweetie, don't cry.. I'm sure Sherlock won't be that bad of a husband," Mary joked, getting a small laugh out of Molly, "Now let's get going, John's afraid that the groom is going to wear a hole in his shoes with all his pacing."
Sherlock had only been waiting at the alter for ten minutes and he was already panicking, pacing up and down.
"Sherlock, calm down!" John said, trying to stop the man from pacing, though failing at it, "You'll be fine, stop pacing!"
"I'm perfectly calm, John!" He snapped, stopping to ruffle his hair slightly, "I'm getting married.. I'm not supposed to be this stressed, am I?" He paused to look at John, a questionable expression on his face and his head cocked to the side, making John chuckle.
"It's all perfectly normal, Sherlock. But you need to stand still," he told the panicking detective, "Your soon-to-be wife will be coming soon."
Sherlock nodded, going back to where he was meant to be standing, John behind him. Of course he still fidgeted, but that quickly faded as music started playing.
First came little Sofia, John and Mary's four year old girl, who threw petals down the isle as she came, coming towards John and pulling on his trouser leg so he'd bend down. John did as his daughter requested and let her whisper something in his ear before she ran off to the other side of the alter, leaving John grinning.
"She told me to tell you that auntie Molly looks very pretty," he whispered to Sherlock, who smirked in response.
Next was Mary, walking down the aisle, smiling over at John before standing beside Sofia at the other side of the alter.
Then came the bride herself, her arm linked with her older brothers as he walked her down the aisle.
And Sherlock most definitely had to agree with Sofia. She was stunning.
His eyes never left her as she departed from her brother with a kiss and approached Sherlock, beaming. "Hi, Sherlock.." She said shyly.
"H-Hi.." He stuttered, swallowing nervously.
Then the ceremony started. After about five minutes Sherlock began to fidget once more, John's daughter being to able to stand still longer than Sherlock. And as soon as the final words left the priests mouth, Sherlock impatiently lifted her vail and kissed her dramatically, dipping her as he did so, causing an eruption of cheers throughout the church.
It was safe to say, they weren't seen too much after that.
