"I may be 12 but I know that I'm going to be someone and everyone will know my name!"
Emma clenched her
fist and yelled at the ceiling, She was laying on her bed thinking
about the future.
"I can't just sit around and wait for
something to happen! I've got to set it off myself!"
She
couldn't stand it anymore, being stuck in the orphanage for 12
years not knowing anything about her parents or her family, Why did
they abandon her? Have she done something so terrible that it was too
horrible to keep her anymore? Right now she didn't have time to sit
and think about the past or what happened for that matter, Right now
her heart was set on getting out of Oak Orphanage. She sneaked in the
kitchen and grabbed 3 bottled waters and a whole cheesecake. It was
dessert for tomorrow but they could always make new food. She wrapped
around the food in her old sweatshirt, She tied it tight enough so it
would come lose, and put comfortable clothes on she'll be wearing
them for a while. She tip toed out of her bed and was about to step
foot in the kitchen when she heard a click. She slowly turned around
and saw Stephanie wide awake crossing her arms with a frown on her
face.
"Where do you think you're going?" Emma scoffed.
"Like I'm telling you!"
She said running in the kitchen,
She was about to open the emergency exit when she felt someone tap on
her arm.
"If you don't tell me I'll scream and there going
to find you."
Emma faced her and dropped her gaze to the ground.
"Okay, I'm-" She whispered in a low voice now. "I'm getting out of here tonight!"
Stephanie slapped her across her face rather hard.
"Are you out of mind! Someone can kidnap you and- you'll never make it Emma!" She cried. Emma rubbed her face.
"I don't care! I'll do whatever it takes I'm leaving!" She pressed lightly on the door beginning to open it.
"Wait!" Emma turned around once more.
"Well don't think your going alone." Emma smiled and hugged her tightly.
Stephanie got embarrassed and pushed her off.
"Well let's go!" "Right" Emma nodded.
