"James, are Sirius and Remus here yet? Dinner's getting cold," Lily said to her husband. "They'll be here in a minute. How's the baby?" James said, placing a hand on his wife's stomach. "Just fine, he'll be due in about a week or so." James smiled. "How do you know it's a boy?" Lily shrugged. "I don't know, I just do." She kissed James on the cheek. All of a sudden, there was a crack. "HOW'S MY FAVORITE MARRIED COUPLE AND MY POTENTIAL GODCHILD?" Sirius boomed. Remus appeared next to him.

"Honestly, Padfoot, you might not get a godchild if you keep popping in on Lily like that." They all laughed. "So, what's for dinner, Lils?" Sirius asked, licking his lips. "It's pasta tonight, and I'm hoping you won't eat it all before we could even get a chance to taste it; and I told you not to call me Lils a countless number of times since we first stepped foot in Hogwarts." "Sorry, Lils," Sirius teased.

Lily suddenly turned pale and leaned against the wall, panting heavily. Sirius immediatley snapped out of his playfullness. "I was just joking!" James hurried to help his wife. "What's happening?" "It's...It's time,"Lily gasped. "What? I thought it wasn't supposed to come for another week!" "Well, apparently not!"

James looked around frantically. "Remus! What are we supposed to do?" Remus was white too. "I have absolutely no idea! Do I look like I've helped deliver a baby before?" Sirius was muttering "oh no, oh no" over and over again under his breath. "Lily! What do we do?"

"Take me to the hospital you buffoons!" "Hospital, hospital," James said, "Sirius could we borrow your motorcycle?" Sirius was close to fainting. "Are you mad?" cried Lily. "Floo powder!" "Oh..." The three men said. James helped Lily into the fireplace. "St. Mungo's!"

James and Sirius were pacing in front of Lily's hospital room. "Sirius, why are you pacing?" Remus asked. "Oh... Good point." He joined Remus on the bench. Remus chuckled."James, relax, they'll be fine." James stopped pacing for a moment. A sharp cry came from Lily's room. "RELAX?! How can I relax when my wife is in pain? I gotta get in there." Remus and Sirius held him back and forced him on to the bench.

"They'll be fine," Remus said again. Sirius suddenly got up and sort of pranced around. "I'm gonna have a godchild! I'm gonna have a godchild!" James and Remus exchanged looks and tried to hide their laughter. A healer suddenly appeared. "Mr. Potter, you-" She trailed off when she saw Sirius jumping up and down. "Whose gonna have a godchild? I'm gonna have a godchild! That's right, I'm gonna have a god-" "SHUT UP PADFOOT!" James and Remus said at the same time. They turned back to the healer.

"Yes?" "Oh, right. Your wife and newborn son are ready to see you now," said a very confused healer. The men rushed into the hospital room. Lily was cradling her little son in her arms. "It's- it's a boy!" James exclaimed. Lily smiled. "Told ya so." "Whatcha gonna name the little tyke?" Sirius asked. "I like the name Harry, don't you James?" He nodded; he couldn't keep his eyes of the baby. Lily laughed. "Would you like to hold him?" "Sure..." James tentatively bounced the baby in his arms.

"He looks just like you!" Remus exclaimed. "He'll be very handsome, just like his father." Lily said, tickling Harry. Sirius started dancing again.

"I have a godson! I have a godson! Who has a godson? I-"

"SHUT UP SIRIUS!"
