with a final slam of the door Sakura was left alone. She pushed herself up against the door, trying to push back the tears that were threatening to spill out she squeezed her eyes shut. She slid down the wall eyes still closed. She pulled her knees up to her chest tightly, resting her head on her knees "no,no" she cursed the tears that slid down her cheeks. She lifted her head eyes searching the living room, which was empty and that was proof of what just happened was real. Proof that her life was never going to be the same again, because just thirty seconds ago she lost the most important thing in her life, Ino.

Ino walked into the living room freshly showered in her tight purple hollister tee and blue jeans. To see a less than happy sakura sitting watching, more like staring blankly at the television. She walked behind the couch and rapped her arms around sakura's neck. " Whats wrong babe?" sakura stiffened under ino's touch " don't touch me" she said tonelessly. "whats your problem?" ino snapped back bringing her arms back away from sakura. Sakura stood up and dropped ino's phone on the couch " Naruto called" she said in he same emotionless tone. Eyes locked on ino's searching for a reaction, which she got, when naruto's name came up a flicker of fear jumped passed ino's eyes. Ino shook it off quickly and got back on her feet "what were you doing in my phone?" ino questioned eyes narrowing. Sakura snorted "Christ,ino" she said with a fate amused smile on her face. "Naruto called you while you where in the shower, and I figured it was an emergency you know because he doesn't call often" she let out a light fake chuckle. Walking out around the couch to where ino was standing "but it wasn't, oh no it wasn't" she could feel her voice starting to shake so she stopped and cleared her throat. She shook her head hard " you know what the first thing he said was?" sakura paused and looked at ino "do you?" she screamed so loud that ino jumped. "Hey baby are you almost ready for dinner" sakura closed her eyes and started pacing the living room. From the very beginning ino's eyes never left the spot on the floor. Her head hung low, and her breathing slowly and deeply. Trying to find a way to get out of the situation at hand. She opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out she tried again but the only thing that managed to come out was a choked out whine. Ino finally lifted her head to see sakura sitting on the floor, head in her hands. Ino slowly made her way to sakura, who was trying to calm herself by trying to take deep long breaths that instead came out in short gagged ones. Ino made her way to sakura and crouched down next to her, "saku..." ino whispered sakura shook her head "no" her voice came out weak, small and sakura hated it. "Ino, what did I do to have this happen to us. If you didn't want to be with me then-" "no" ino rushed out "no sakura I want to be with you, only you it was a one time thing I swear saku... please". It broke sakura's heart to hear ino begging she lifted her head to meet ino's pleading eyes. " Ino, once or one hundred times it would all hurt the same, I think, I think we need sometime for you to figure out who you want to be with." Ino's heart dropped and her eyes widened "but I want you sakura!" she screamed out. Sakura let her head drop back down to the floor "yea well" she mumbled "you might go and see if naruto is still available because I don't think I'm going to be an option for a while i-" before she could say another word ino was up and out the door leaving her sobs ringing in sakura's ears.
