"I Wish I Could'
--
I wish I could say that I was close to my mother...but I can't. Oddly, that's okay with me. We only end up fighting anyway.
I wish I could say that I never went longer than a month without seeing my dad...but I have. He's always gone. I love my dad very much, but I miss him being there.
I wish I could say that I didn't hate my best friend...but I do. She's a good friend, but she's just too perfect. I hate how giddy she is, and that everyone likes her so much.
I wish I could say that I'm not competing with my own twin brother...but I am. I've always tried to come out on top. I've always pushed him to the side, but for some reason...he still loves me.
I wish I could say that I loved my boyfriend...but I don't. Sure, he's great guy. He's just not right for me. I care about him deeply. I just don't love him.
Most of all, I wish I didn't love you. But I am completely desperatly in love with you. There's no denying how you make me feel, so I'm not going to. I love you.
"You should show him this." Chad said as he held the paper in his hand. He approached her as she looked at him. She seemed shocked to see him there.
"What are you doing here?" She asked as he sat next to her on the stage.
"This." He handed her the paper. It was her words...her handwriting.
"Where did you getr this?" She asked, suprisenly calm. He shrugged.
"Around."
"You don't even get it." She sighed. She had been hoping he had.
"You have issues with your mom. You miss your dad. You hate Gabriella because she's a litlle too good. You try to make yourself seem more powerful than Ryan, but he keeps you on the ground. You like Zeke, but you don't love him."
"They were all pretty easy to understand Chad. It wasn't brain surgery."
"There's just one thing I don't get." He raised his eyesbrow slightly as he glanced back on the paper.
"What is that?"
"Who do you love?" She stared at him. Man, was he dence.
"Nobody Chad." She said with slight frustration.
"Troy?"
"No." Seperate ffrom what most people thought. She didn't love Troy.
"Seriously? I thought for sure that's who it was."
"Well you were wrong." She stood up and he just looked at her.
"Then who?"
"Nobody...I have to go." She quickly grabbed her keys.
"Huh-uh. Now you have me interested." He grabbed her hand. She froze.
"Chad let go." She warned, though she knew that he wouldn't do anything. She hated being controlled.
"Nope, you have to tell me who it is first."
She rolled her eyes. "It's nobody. I have to go." She tried to walk away. He grabbed her again.
"You're not going anywhere until you tell me. And don't say 'It's nobody', because that's getting annoying." He smirked slightly.
"Why do you want to know anyways?"
"I love a good mystery."
"Then go solve a murder." She tried to get free. He only gripped her hand harder.
"Well I need practice first." This time there was no doubt. He had smirked. She felt the need to slap him, but didn't move.
"Will you just let me leave before I slap you?" She looked serious.
"You wouldn't slap me?" He smirked again. She really would right now.
"And why not?"
"Because you love me." He whispered before placing a kiss on her lips.
"Maybe you really arn't as dumb as you look." She smirked as the both leaned in for another kiss.
