Little Miracles

What will Ryoma-kun think? Thought Sakuno, Is he going to be happy or will he be disappointed? We have only been married for a year. Are we ready for this? Am I ready for this!? Sakuno was so lost in thought she completely forgot that Ryoma was going to be home soon from his trip.

It was around 12:30 and Ryoma had finally gotten home. He walked through the front door but to his surprise Sakuno had not waited up for him. I realize it's late but I thought Sakuno would have waited up for me. As quietly as he could he went and turned on the lights beside the stairs.

He put down his suit case and went to go into the kitchen. When all of sudden a very faint sound stopped him dead in his tracks.

"Is . . . Sakuno crying?" he asked himself out loud.

He quickly went up the stairs to there bedroom. Ryoma opened the door only a little bit , at that very moment his heart sunk at what he saw before him. Sakuno was on the corner of the bed with her head in her hands and she was crying and shaking violently. Ryoma was so scared at what he saw he opened the door and ran towards her. He knelt in front of her and he put his arms around her waist and pulled her off the bed. Ryoma was still on his knees and Sakuno was on him with her back up against the bed.

Sakuno, a little startled, looked up at Ryoma.

"R-Ryoma when . . . when did you . . .?" she started to say but he quickly, but gently placed his lips on hers. He pulled away and began to kiss away the tears that were streaming down her face.

"Please don't cry Sakuno", he looked up at her with sadness in his eyes "Please tell me what's wrong"

She was scared; she wasn't sure exactly how he would react.

"Ryoma. . .I'm . . . I'm..." Sakuno quickly looked down towards the floor. "Promise me you won't be disappointed."

"I promise" he said while placing a small kiss on her lips.

Sakuno, still facing the floor, slightly looked up "Ryoma. I'm pregnant"

Ryoma was in shock. He wasn't sure what he should say. He wasn't upset at all, just a bit over whelmed.

"When . . . when did this---"

"Two weeks ago right before you left for America . . . Remember?" Sakuno said cutting him off mid- sentence.

All of the memories of the night before he left came flooding back to him. He began to smile at the images popping into his head.

Sakuno saw him smiling and got upset.

"I can't believe you . . . you" the tears began to stream down her face again "you think this is funny I've . . . I've been so scared and you actu---"

"I don't think its funny" Ryoma said cutting her off "Sakuno as soon as we got married I new I wanted to start a family with you"

"So . . . So you're happy?"

Ryoma gave her a little smirk. He quickly picked her up and pinned her to the bed, with both of his hands on ether side of her head. He gently went and lifted her chin up and began to lay kisses all over her neck. When he was finished he went to explore her mouth. He finally pulled away and looked deeply into her eyes.

"Sakuno of course I'm happy" Ryoma looked down and placed a hand on her stomach. "I can't wait until our child is born!" Ryoma said a little too happily.

"How come?" asked Sakuno

"Because as soon as he or she is born I can teach them how to play tennis!!"

Sakuno began to laugh and placed a hand on the side of his face "Oh Ryoma. . . " she said rolling her eyes.
