It was already the middle of the year and everyone was already used to what they do by now and the girl people question is Maka Albarn. She wasn't the prettiest of girls,but she was decent. She wasn't one of the smartest, but she was at the top of her class. Maka didn't have many friends but the few she has she doesn't spend time with them. Maka would normally stay back and read a book, but everything changes when a new kid, Soul Eater Evans, comes to D.W.M.A.

"Hello everyone, I am Soul "Eater" Evans and I will be a new student here. Soul scanned the room and stopped by Maka, "Excuse me Professor can I sit by her?" Soul pointed towards Maka and Professor Stein gave an OK.

Soul then walked towards to her and sat. Maka then closed her book and notices that there is someone sitting next to her.

Soul smiled and introduced himself, "Hello I am Soul Evans what is your name?"

Maka thought that it was weird for someone to talk to her. "I am Maka Albarn, why are you sitting next to me?" She wondered, she wondered.

Soul looked at her and said something that shocked her "Is it wrong to sit to someone beautiful?"

She blushed and thought that he was joking.

(In her head)

Why is someone like him, so handsome, talking to me, Plain old Albarn?

(Back to normal)

"Thank you..." Maka said in a shy voice.

They continued to chat while Stein continued to teach and Maka hoped that Stein's class would never end. As the last 5 minutes were about to end Soul asked Maka if they could be friends.

Maka responded, "of course!"

Soul smiled and was glad he had his first friend in the school. The bell then rang and everyone headed out. Maka walked to her second period class when she thought of Maka was alone Soul came by to ask her a question.

Soul looked over at Maka and asked "I know I just came but I wanted to tell you that I like you." Soul stared at her big emerald eyes and grabbed her hand and said slowly, "Will you go out with me?" Soul blushed and thought he would get rejected.

Maka blushed insanely and smiled "YES!" She would never think She would date anyone during her time in D.W.M.A.

He smiled and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Soul thought that it was the best day of his life.
